I absolutely love the Skippyjon book with the plush toy, about the siamese kitty! We have two new kittens, and now suddenly we are all about the cats and the cat toys! I saw there was also a book with the Farting Dog plush toy, how funny! Please do not tell my boys, they would love that, and we do not need to go out and buy a farting puppy now that we have kittens! ; )
I just wanted to add, by the way, how much my son loves playing with the wooden blocks in different shapes, the “pattern blocks.” His teacher introduced us to them and we bought our own set because he enjoyed playing with them in school so much!

This one is difficult because there were a few things I really thought were neat.
I have to say the Melissa and Doug Mighty Builders Fire Truck Model is my top pick because it’s something all of my kids could use together.

It was hard to pick just one favorite, but I like the “Plan Toys Organic Green Tie Up Lacing Shoe”. I just went through a shoe tying fiasco with my 7 year old son, he decided during 1st grade that he couldn’t tie his shoes anymore and walked around school all day with his laces hanging!!! I need this toy so my 18 month old could get an early start with shoe tying!!
